Settlement of Wagers


Statistics provided by the official rating(s) provider or the official site of the appropriate competitors or occasion will be utilized to settle wagers. Where statistics from an official score(s) service provider or main site are not readily available or there is substantial proof that the official rating(s) company or official site is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement.


In the absence of constant, independent evidence or in the existence of substantial conflicting proof, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.


Betting Information


General


Race Surface


If on the day of a race the surface is modified (e.g., Turf to Dirt/All Weather or vice versa), then bets will stand.


Win/Place Betting


Bets are settled to win unless Win/Place is selected. An Win/Place bet is a bet of two times the selected unit wager. It consists of one bet of system wager on the choice to Win and one bet of system wager on the selection to be Placed according to the terms advertised for the event. In basic, the Place part of Win/Place bets will be settled based on the following Place terms:


- Handicaps of 16 or more starters, one quarter the odds, initially four places.


- Handicaps of 12 to 15 beginners, one quarter the chances, initially three locations.


- All other races of 8 or more beginners, one 5th the odds, first 3 locations.


- Races of 5, 6, or 7 beginners, one quarter the odds, initially two places.


- Less than 5 starter, the location cash is invested to Win.


Position Payout


Position Payout is a set chances market, which offers you the option to place a bet on your horse to complete within a variety of finishing positions. The payout of your bet is determined by the set multiplier assigned to the completing position of your horse.


Bets on scratches will be considered no action.


If a horse(s) is withdrawn from a specific race with chances of higher than +475, your choice will stand at the existing costs. If the withdrawn horse(s) has chances of +450 or less, then your selection will be recalculated at the present costs. In case of the number of runners in the race amounting to or less than the number of completing positions offered sometimes of bet placement, then bets will be deemed no action.


For any Position Payout bets, in the occasion of a dead-heat, we will pay the complete reproduction value for the higher location. As an example, if your horse dead heats up for 3rd and 4th place, you will be paid in complete for the 3rd place multiplier.


Our Double Result promotion will apply to this market.


Runners Under Starting Orders


In all races the variety of beginners will be the variety of starters coming under beginners orders. Bets will not be accepted where the Place wager surpasses the Win wager. Win/Place 2 Leg Parlays, 3 Leg Parlays, and Multi Leg Parlays will be settled Win to Win and Place to Place in accordance with the above.


Each Way Extra


Each Way Extra bets are considered an offset to basic Win/Place terms. In case of scratches, if the basic Win/Place terms alter, then the Each Way Extra terms will likewise alter appropriately (consisting of changes to the variety of places available and/or the market place fraction).


Refund (Win Insurance)


Money Back (Win Insurance) 2 Places


The price for the choice to win the race is less than for Win and Win/Place markets, however refund if your choice finishes 2nd. Bets on scratches will be considered no action, and when applicable Rule 4 will use to all staying runners based upon the cost of the scratched horse in the typical Win market (not the Cover Bet price). In case of scratches, the variety of places paid will stay the same, unless the variety of runners in the race is equal to or less than the variety of locations paid, in which case all bets will be considered no action. Dead-heat rules apply. Our Double Result deal will use to this market.


Cash Back (Win Insurance) 3 Places


As above however money back for ending up second or third.


Refund (Win Insurance) 4 Places


As above but refund for finishing 2nd, third, or fourth.


Cash Back (Win Insurance) 5 Places


As above but refund for completing 2nd, third, 4th, or fifth.


Cash Back (Win Insurance) 6 Places


As above but cash back for ending up 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th.


Refund (Win Insurance) 7 Places


As above but money back for completing 2nd, third, 4th, 5th, 6th, or seventh.


Money Back (Win Insurance) 8 Places


As above however cash back for finishing second, third, 4th, 5th, sixth, seventh, or 8th.


Money Back (Win Insurance) 9 Places


As above however cash back for completing second, 3rd, 4th, 5th, sixth, seventh, 8th, or ninth.


Cash Back (Win Insurance) 10 places


As above however cash back for finishing 2nd, 3rd, fourth, 5th, 6th, seventh, eighth, ninth, or tenth.


Place Betting


To Place 2-10/1 -2/ 1-2-3 Betting


These markets are settled according to the terms advertised for the event. Bets on scratches will be considered no action, and when appropriate, a deduction will use to all staying runners based on the relevant Place Only/1 -2/ 1-2-3 odds of the withdrawn horse at the time of withdrawal, using the table listed below. In the occasion of scratches, we reserve the right to change the place terms used for subsequent bets put. In case of the variety of runners in the race amounting to or less than the number of locations provided at time of bet placement, then bets will be considered no action. Normal dead-heat guidelines apply. Our Double Result deal will apply to this market. However, our Lucky 15/31/63 rewards do not apply to Place Only bets.

In the event of 2 or more horses being scratched before coming under Starter's Orders, then the overall reductions will not go beyond $0.90 in $.


Without


Dead-heat guidelines use. Where we provide odds on an event without a chosen choice(s), for settlement purposes the finishing position of the "without" choice(s) will be neglected.


In case of a scratch or of scratches a Rule 4 reduction will be applied based on the price (in the defined "without" market) of the non-runner at the time of withdrawal. In the case of a scratch or of scratches leaving just one priced estimate runner in a "without" market, then our Walkover rules will use and bets will be considered no action.


Where there are no finishers in a race leaving out the "without" choices, then all bets will be deemed no action.


Any Win/Place terms marketed are decided on the actual number of runners who participate in the race, omitting the "without" choice(s).


Fixed Odds Exactas and Fixed Odds Trifectas


Fixed Odds Exacta


When Fixed Odds Betting is offered with 3 or more starters, bet365 may provide Fixed Odds Exacta Wagers. Exacta wagering involves predicting first and 2nd locations in a race.


In case of a scratching which is 10.00 or less in the bet365 Fixed Odds Win Market, Fixed Odds Exactas positioned prior to the scratching will be paid at the bet365 closing repaired odds exacta rate. For scratchings over 10.00 the priced quote chances will stand.


In case of only 2 runners starting a race, all Fixed Odds Exacta wagers will be deemed no action.


Fixed Odds Trifecta


When Fixed Odds Betting is offered with 3 or more starters, bet365 might offer Fixed Odds Trifecta Wagers. Trifecta wagering includes anticipating 1st, second, and 3rd locations in a race.


In case of a scratching which is 10.00 or less in the bet365 Fixed Odds Win Market, Fixed Odds Trifectas put prior to the scratching will be paid at the bet365 closing repaired chances trifecta price. For scratchings over 10.00 the quoted chances will stand.


In the occasion of only 2 beginners starting a race, all Fixed Odds Trifecta bets will be considered no action.


In case of just 2 starters finishing the race, the outcome will be settled with a dividend being declared equal to the bet365 closing fixed chances exacta rate, presuming the initial Trifecta bet includes the 2 finishers in the right placings, with any of the other beginners to finish 3rd.


In the occasion of just 1 starter completing the race, a dividend will be declared equal to the bet365 closing rate in the repaired odds win market.


Scratches Besides Futures


Where a horse is scratched before coming under starter's orders, or is formally deemed by the runner to have taken no part in the race, then wagers will be returned on the scratched horse and winning bets will go through reductions in accordance with Rule 4 (Deductions). The rate of reduction will be based upon the price of the scratched horse at the time of its scratching on the following scale:

Winning Distance Over/Under Reside In Game


Where there is a dead-heat, winning bets will be settled under the quote to the full wager. Where a horse surfaces alone, bets will be settled over the quote. Where a horse completes exactly on the quote, then all bets will be settled as no action.


Match Bet, Including Live In Game


All choices need to be considered an official runner or bets are deemed no action.


The choice that attains the greatest finishing position is the winner. Bets will be chosen the Correct Weight or the All Clear outcome supplied by the official governing body.


Dead-heat rules apply.


If both or all selections stop working to complete, all bets will be considered no action and wagers returned.


Our Protest Promise promotion does not use.


Winning Distances


Where applicable, the named horse must win. All bets will be settled according to the official distance as specified at the weigh-in. Any scratches, then Rule 4 (Deductions) will apply to Horse Winning Distances (not relevant to Race Winning Distances). Where the named horse is a dead-heat winner, then bets will be settled as under to the full wager. Where a horse finishes alone, then bets settled as over.


Either To Win


For a specified race odds are offered for either of the called horses to win.


If either horse is stated a scratch, the entire bet will be deemed no action.
